PPP Loan Changes to Help Sole Proprietors, Independent Contractors, and the Self-Employed
Changes Will Also Prioritize the Smallest of Small Businesses
Yesterday, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced changes to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) aimed at helping the smallest of small businesses, sole proprietors, and independent contractors, including an exclusive, 14-day PPP loan application period for businesses with fewer than 20 employees.
