President Trump to Sign Bill Providing More Funding for EIDL, PPP Loan Programs
Funds Expected to Only Last a Couple of Days After Bill Signed Into Law by President Trump, So Don’t Delay!

At noon today, President Trump is scheduled to sign into law Congress’ fourth legislative response to the devastating economic effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The new law will add funding to both the Paycheck Protection Program (approximately $320 billion) and the Small Business Administration’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan program ($10 billion in grants, $50 billion in loans), which both ran out of funding last week.

Already Applied for PPP Loan or EIDL?
People who have applied for a PPP and/or EIDL should not have to re-apply now that this latest round of funding is official. But, if you have applied for a PPP loan, have not gotten a decision from your lender, and have been told that applications were suspended or “on hold” due to lack of funding , contact your lender ASAP to check the status of your application, just to ensure that you do not need to re-apply.

ACT FAST! Funding WILL NOT Last!
If you have not applied for a PPP loan or an EIDL and are thinking of doing so, we cannot stress enough the importance of getting your application in as quickly as possible. Some experts are estimating that these additional funds may only last a few days and it is unclear if additional funding is forthcoming. For information on how to apply, see the “SBA Paycheck Protection Program Loans” and “Small Business Administration” sections of the MAC Virtual Toolkit.
